Da mir der Title "comfortable" nicht so gut gefallen hat, habe ich das Wort einfach ins Deutsche übersetzt: bequem.

I wanted to use a German title, so I translated the word "comfortable" -> "bequem"

Den Titel habe ich mit meiner Cameo aus Cardstock und dicker Pappe ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich beides zusammen geklebt, damit der Titel stabiler wirkt. 

I used cardstock and cardboard to cut out the title with my cameo. Then I stick them both together to get a more steady effect.

Blumenranke habe ich mit der Cameo ausgeschnitten und mit mintfarbenem Cardstock hinterklebt. Die Schmetterlinge sind Rub ons aus meinem Fundus.

I cut the flower wreath with my cameo and backed it with mint cardstock. The butterflies are rub ons from my stash.

Die Herzen sind Aufkleber aus der "Belive"-Serie von BoBunny.

The hearts are stickers from the "believe"-pack from BoBunny.

Forte Belvedere

A new month starts at Lasting Memories layout challenges. 

#384 -Did you Know? March was named for the Roman God "Mars" Mars  was the god of war and also an agricultural guardian. 

So this gives you 2 options, a layout about war (think a layout of a war hero, museum-area about war (Gettysburg)...) or an agricultural/farm layout (which this could cover just about anything with farming-food, animals, seasons....)

I decided to create a layout with some pictures from our last years Holidays where we visited a war museum in an old fortress.

I used the actual Sketch from Stuck?! Sketches as inspiration:

I used kraft paper as my background. I love kraft paper, but often, I don't know how to work with it, but now, I wanted to challenge me and used it today. I love the combination of kraft and white!

Frühling

Heute zeige ich euch ein Layout, das ich mit den neuen Stempeln von Scrapbook-Forever gemacht habe. Hierzu habe ich die neuen SF-Stempel "ein kleiner Frühlingsgruß" und als Inspiration den Sketch von Stuck?!Sketches verwendet:

Today, I am sharing  my newest layout for scrapbook-forever. I used the new SF-stamps "ein kleiner Frühlingsgruß" and for more Inspiration the actual Sketch from Stuck?!Sketches:

Als Hintergrund habe ich hellblauen Cardstock verwendet. Die Fotos aus Straßburg habe ich mit dunkelblauem und grünem Cardstock hinterlegt. Dann habe ich Blumen im Kreis mit blauer Versafine-Stempelfarbe direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt. Mit Polychomos Farbstiften habe ich die Blumen daraufhin coloriert. Die Schlüsselblume habe ich auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, ebenfalls coloriert und dann ausgeschnitten. Den Titel habe ich mit der Cameo ausgeschnitten. Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar blaue und grüne Enamel-Dots aufgeklebt. 

I used light blue cardstock as my Background. The photos are backed with navy blue and green cardstock. Then I stamped the flowers in a circle onto my Background and colored them with polychromos. After that I stamped the primrose onto white cardstock, colored it, too and fussy cut it out. The title is cut out with my cameo. Finally I stuck some enamel dots onto my layout.

So und weiter geht es mit ein paar Challenges.
Zunächst mit dem Sketch von Stuck?!Sketches:

First, the Sketch from Stuck?! Sketches: 

Des weiteren habe ich die Challenge von CSI - color stories inspiration genutzt. Die Vorgaben für die Challenges haben sich dort etwas geändert, aber ich habe mich trotzdem an den Vorschlägen orientiert. Die Häuser und die Berge des Bildes haben mir als Vorlage gedient.

Then I used the challenge from CSI - color stories inspiration. They changed their case files a little bit, to make it easier to join in, but I love to use the colors, the evidence and the testimony! The housed and the mountains of the szene are a good inspiration for my layout:
And I used from testimony: document a winter activity (we went to Kappl for winter vacation - this year, they had not very much snow at all).

Bei Papier issues gibt es eine Take 5 -Challenge. Ich habe navy blue - triangles - washi tape - fussy cutting und stickers verwendet.

Zuletzt möchte ich noch an der Challenge bei Scrap our Stash teilnehmen: Winterthema und weiße Farbspritzer.

Last but not least, I want to join in the challenge of Scrap our Stash: Winter themed layout and paint splashes.

Die Häuser sind Stempel von Lavinia, die ich auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt habe. Danach habe ich sie mit Polychromos-Stiften coloriert und ausgeschnitten. 

The houses are stamps from Lavinia, that I stamped on white cardstock. Then I colored them with polychromos and fussy cut them out.

Die Datei mit den Bergen und den Tannen ist von the cut shoppe. Den Schriftzug habe ich mit der Cameo ausgeschnitten. Zum Schluss noch ein paar Embellishments und einige weiße Farbspritzer.

The cut file with the mountains and the trees are from the cut shoppe. The Title is cut with my cameo, too. Finally I added some embellishments and some white color spatters.

So, heute habe ich mir den Sketch von Stuck?! Sketches vorgenommen. Eigentlich sind Papierstreifen oder auch Washi-tape-Streifen nicht so mein Ding, aber das Ergebnis gefällt mir jetzt echt gut!

Today, I decided to use the actual sketch from Stuck?! Sketches. Normally, I'm not a fan of paper strips or washitape, but I must confess, that I love the result!

Als Hintergrund habe ich hellblauen Cardstock verwendet. Danach habe ich weißen Cardstock mit Distress oxides (twisted citron und broken china) und dem blending tool eingefärbt und in verschieden breite Streifen geschnitten. Nun habe ich die einzelnen Streifen mit verschiedenen kleinen Stempeln von SF-Stamps bestempelt und hinter meinem Foto drapiert. Für das blaue Papier mit den Kreisen habe ich weißen Cardstock verwendet und den Embossingfolder (Sizzix Texture Fades  ) mit Distress oxides eingefärbt. Den Schriftzug habe ich mit Buchstabenstempeln direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt und mit den Kleksstempeln von SF-Stamps ein paar Akzente gesetzt. Als Dekoration habe ich das Blumenbouquet aus dem Set "Es gibt viele Dinge" verwendet.

After that, I decorated them with several small stamps from SF-Stamps and arranged them behind my photo. I used white cardstock and colored the embossing folder (Sizzix Texture Fades  ) with distress oxides to create the blue paper with the circles. The title ist stamped with letter stamps directly on my background. Then I made some highlights with the splotch stamps from SF-Stamp. I used the flower from the "Es gibt viele Dinge"set for my decoration.

Stempelmesse

Heute habe ich endlich einmal wieder Zeit für ein paar Challenges gefunden. Zuerst habe ich mir die von CSI- color stories inspiration vorgenommen. Bei der Durchsicht der Aufgaben, fiel mir der Punkt "Thema: dokumentiere etwas, das du gerne tust" ins Auge und mein erster Gedanke war: das ist das perfekte Thema für die Fotos von der diesjährigen Stempelmesse in Korntal. Dort war ich mit meinen Freundinnen und wir hatten einen tollen Tag (klar, was sonst!) und natürlich lieben wir es zu stempeln, zu basteln und zu stöbern!

Today, I had some time, to solve some challenges. First, I took the one from  CSI- color stories inspiration.  While I was reading the testimony "topic: document something you love to do", my first thought was: this is the perfect topic for my photos from the stamping exhibition this year. I was there with my friends and we had a great day (sure, what else? ;-) ) and of course, we love stamping, creating and shopping!

From evidence I used: flowers - stamps - letter stamps and fuzzy cut them out

Then, I used a sketch from Stuck?!Sketches:

And last but not least, I took some inspiration from the actual receipe-challenge of lasting memories:
receipe #1: LM #368 - create a layout using 3 patterned papers, background stamping, a punched shape, puffy stickers, and your handwriting.

Scrapbook Forever - Neujahr

Heute habe ich mal wieder die Wichtel ausgepackt!  Als Inspiration habe ich den aktuellen Sketch von Stuck?! Sketches verwendet:

 Today, I unpacked my goblin-stamps to create a new layout! For inspiration, I used the actual sketch from Stuck?! Sketches .

Als Hintergrund habe ich weißen Cardstock verwendet. Auf diesen habe ich mit Aquarellfarben in Regenbogenfarben und einem Stück Verpackungsfolie bunte Kleckse aufgetragen. Darauf habe ich Wünsche für das neue Jahr mit den Stempeln aus dem SF-Stamp - Set "Geburtstagsblume" gestempelt. Die Fotos habe ich auf einen Streifen Transparentpapier geklebt, damit die Farben zwar noch durch scheinen, aber nicht so leuchten. Für den Streifen unten habe ich wieder mit Aquarellfarbe Kleckse auf einen Streifen weißen Cardstock aufgebracht und dann mit den passenden Farben einige Sterne aus dem Set "Strahlenmeer" gestempelt. Den Rand habe ich mit einem schwarzen Washi-Tape aus meinem Fundus gestaltet. Die Wichtel habe ich ebenfalls mit Aquarellfarben in Regenbogenfarben coloriert und dann mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. Der Schriftzug ist gestempelt und mit Aquarellfarbe leicht coloriert. Zum Schluss noch ein paar Enamel dots - fertig. 

I used white cardstock as my background. Onto this, I splattered  some splotches with watercolors and a plastic packaging in rainbow colors. Then I stamped new year wishes with the sf-stamp- set "Geburtstagsblume" on my background. The photos are stuck on a piece of vellum, to smooth the bright colors but still let them shine through. For the strip on the bottom of my layout, I splattered some rainbow colored splotches on a piece of white cardstock again. Onto this, I stamped some appropriate stars from the "Strahlenmeer" set. The edge is created with black washi tape, I found in my stash. The goblins are colored with watercolors and fuzzy cut out. The title is stamped and lightly colored with watercolors. Finally, some enamel dots - ready!

Flamingos

Heute habe ich mir eine Technik vor genommen, die Silke auf ihrem Workshop gezeigt hat. Auf die Idee kam ich durch die Challenge von Lasting Memories: stempeln mit etwas, das kein Stempel ist.
Zudem habe ich den Sketch von Stuck?!Sketches umgesetzt:

Today, I carried out a technique, that Silke showed us at her last workshop. This idea came to me, as I read the challenge from lasting memories: stamp with something other than a stamp. 
In addition to this, I used the sketch from Stuck?!Sketches:

Als Hintergrund habe ich einen ganz glatten weißen Cardstock von American crafts verwendet.  Auf diesen habe ich mit distress oxide (worn lipstick) und dem Blending tool eine rundliche Fläche gewischt. Mit dem Deckel der Sprühflasche, einem Gummiband und Wasser habe ich die weißen Muster auf die Fläche gestempelt. Das Wasser nimmt die Farbe wieder vom Papier. Mit grüner Stempelfarbe (distress oxide twisted citron) habe ich weitere Kreise mit dem Deckel auf das Layout gestempelt.

I used white smooth american crafts cardstock as my background. Onto this, I smeared some pink distress oxide (worn lipstick) with the blending tool. Then I stamped on to it with the cap of my spray bottle, a rubber band and water. The water ensures, that the color removes from the paper. After that, I stamped some green circles with distress oxide twisted citron and the cap of my spray bottle.

 Dann habe ich einen Embossingfolder mit Stempelfarbe (Distress oxide twisted citron) eingefärbt, weißen Cardstock eingelegt und das ganze durch meine Big shot gekurbelt. Entstanden ist dieses schöne Muster. Von diesem Streifen habe ich ein Dreieck abgeschnitten und an den oberen Rand geklebt. Als Bordüre habe ich viele Hibiskusblüten aus dem SF-Stempelset "Endlich Urlaub" gestempelt, coloriert, ausgeschnitten und aufgeklebt. Das Foto habe ich zuerst auf Transparentpapier geklebt, dann auf ein Stück pinkes Papier. Um einen dreidimensionalen Effekt zu erzielen, habe ich es zudem noch auf ein Stück dicke Pappe geklebt. Hinter das Foto habe ich noch ein Gras aus dem "Gräser Set1" gestempelt. Um es plastischer aussehen zu lassen, habe ich es zuerst mit grün und dann noch leicht versetzt mit braun gestempelt. Die Hibiskusblüte habe ich auf 2 Stück Pappe geklebt, damit sie höher ist, als das Foto. Dahinter habe ich ein Stück des Astes aus dem Set "kleiner Piepmatz" gestempelt. Diesen Ast finde ich immer total toll, um ihn im Hintergrund hervorschauen zu lassen! Der Schriftzug ist mit der Cameo geschnitten (Lauren Script).


Then, I colored an embossing folder with distress oxide twisted citron, put in some white cardstock and shoot it through my big shot. I love this awesome effect! From this strip, I cut a triangle and glued it down on the top of my layout. As border, I stamped lots of hibiskus from the SF-stamp set "Endlich Urlaub" , colored them, cut them out and glued them onto my layout. My photo is backed with vellum and a piece of pink cardstock. For more dimension, I stuck it onto a piece of thick cardboard. Behind the photo, I stamped a grass from SF-Stamps. The hibiscus flower ist stuck on 2 pieces of cardboard, because it should be higher than the photo. Behind this, I stamped a branch of the set "kleiner Piepmatz. I really love this branch for decoration behind my photos. The word "Flamingos" ist cut with my cameo (Lauren Script).

Als Hintergrund habe ich heute dunkelgrauen Cardstock verwendet. Darauf habe ich eine relativ große Menge Gesso verteilt, damit das weiß schön deckend ist. Dann habe ich mit dem Gesso noch einige weiße Klekse gespritzt. Nachdem alles getrocknet war, habe ich  etwas pinker Sprühfarbe auf dem Gesso verteilt. Die Fotos habe ich mit Resten aus rosa und grauem Papier hinterlegt. Hinter den Flamingo (Datei von the cut shoppe) habe ich noch einige Streifen Papier und washi-Tape geklebt. 

Today, I used dark grey cardstock as my background. Then I smudged lots of gesso on the cardstock and splattered some of the white gesso around. After drying, I sprayed some pink color spray onto the gesso. The photos are backed with scraps of pink and grey cardstock. Behind the flamingo (cut file from the cut shoppe), I sticked some paper strips and washi tape.

Today, I'm sharing my newest layout for the actual challenge of Stuck?!Sketches. and lasting Memories. At Lasting Memories, the theme this month is: patterned paper and I choosed chevron paper.

And this is my layout: I used several cut files from my computer and some chevron patterned paper. I love, how the colors pop off the black page!

Today, my new layout is inspired by the august-sketch from Stuck?!Sketches:

And I want to join in the challenge of the studio challenges. They have a tic-tac-toe-challenge this month:

 I ued the last row:  wood veneer - blue - buttons.


For my background, I used 2 patterned papers with the same design but different colors. The swirls look like waves and fit perfectly with my beach photos. For the diagonal decoration, I selected some ocean cut files (seashells, seastars, waves, boat, anchor) from my bibliothek and welded them into a diagonal banner. After cut it out, I backed it with different papers. Then, I smuged some Gesso on my background and splashed some turquoise and blue color on it.  After gluing the banner down, I added some embellishments for decoration. My title is a cut file from the cut shoppe.

So, endlich habe ich es mal wieder geschafft, ein Layout fertig zu stellen. Ich wollte unbedingt, das Blumenbouquet von SF-Stamps in silber embossen. Auf der Suche nach einer Idee, wie ich die Fotos drapieren und die Seiten gestalten könnte, bin ich auf den Sketch von Stuck?!Sketches gestoßen: 

After a long time, I finally created a new layout. I wanted to emboss the great flowers from sf-stamps in silver. Then I searched an Idea how to create my layout and I found the new sketch from Stuck?!Sketches:

 Und natürlich wollte ich wieder einmal die Tic-Tac-Toe-Challenge von scrap our stash umsetzen: 

And - sure - I wanted to take part at the tic-tac-toe-challenge from scrap our stash: 

Für mein Layout habe ich die mittlere Reihe gewählt: 
die Farbe blau - Polaroid - Hexagon Form 

For my layout, I choosed the middle row: the color blue - Polaroid - hexagon shape 

Nun aber zum Layout: 
Als Hintergrund habe ich mal wieder weißen Cardstock verwendet. Als Hintergrundpapier für die Fotos habe ich hellblauen Cardstock gewählt. Dann habe ich zuerst das Blumenbouquet aufgestempelt und silber embosst. Mit Distress oxides in broken china und cracked pistachio habe ich ein bisschen auf den weißen Cardstock gekleckert. Als ich dann den blauen Cardstock darauf gelegt habe, kam er mir etwas leer vor und ich habe auch dort die Farbe auf die linke untere und die rechte obere Ecke gekleckert. Hierzu nehme ich immer Verpackungsfolie (z.B. von Stempeln), tupfe mit dem Stempelkissen darauf, sprühe etwas Wasser darauf und drücke die Folie mit der Farbe auf das Papier. Daraufhin habe ich den Rand des blauen Cardstocks mit Schleifpapier etwas aufgeribbelt und ihn mit der Nähmaschine auf den Hintergrund genäht. Auf das eine Foto habe ich einen Polaroid-Rahmen geklebt, den ich mit den Distress oxides und dem Blending tool coloriert habe. Um einen schöneren Effekt zu erziehlen habe ich noch Wasser darauf gesprüht. Die Oxides erhalten damit ein schönes Muster. Den Pfeil habe ich mit silber embosstem Cardstock hinterlegt. Das Foto mit dem Strandspaziergang habe an einer Seite mit den Sechseck-Framelits in kleine Sechsecke geschnitten und aufgeklebt. Dann habe ich weitere Sechsecke aus weißem und hellblauem Cardstock ausgestanzt, mit den Blumen aus dem SF-Stamps-Set "Es gibt viele Dinge" bestempelt und auf meinem Layout angeordnet. Die größere Blume aus diesem Set habe ich wieder mit Silber embosst und ausgeschnitten. Den Schriftzug habe ich mit der Cameo geschnitten (Schriftart: Stylish Calligraphy). Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar Sprüche aus dem Set "die Seele baumeln lassen" aufgestempelt. 

I wanted to do some heat embossing on my background, so I pulled the flowers from the "Es gibt viele Dinge" - SF-Stamp set and used silver embossing powder on them.  I did the embossing once I decided where my photos were going to go.  After I did the embossing, I came in with some distress oxides to jazz up the background and create a watercolor effect.  The fun thing about embossing is that it resists any liquid, so the color went on the areas in between the flowers. I colored the blue cardstock with distress oxides, too, cause it looked too plain. After that, I worked on the edges for getting an used look. And finally, I machine stitched the cardstock on my background. The polaroid is colored with a blending tool,  distress oxides and some spots of water. The arrow is backed with silver embossed paper.  After that, I used my hexagon framelits and my big shot, to cut out some hexagons of my photo and some white and blue cardstock. I stamped some flowers on the hexagons and draped them on my layout. Finally, I did some decoration with twine and silver embossed flowers from the "Es gibt viele Dinge" - SF-Stamp set. The title is cut with my cameo (stylish calligraphy). 

Das aufgenähte Rechteck hat dann auch noch toll zur Challenge von the studio challenges gepasst: Sticken - von Hand oder mit der Maschine

And I thought, the machine stitched rectangle fits perfectly with the challenge of the studio challenges: stitching
