The challenge of todays mixed bag challenge at Lasting Memories is to use torn edges. 

In der heutigen Challenge bei Lasting Memories wollen wir gerissenes Papier sehen. 

Ich habe graues Papier mit weißer Stempelfarbe und den Stempeln von creative depot bestempelt. 

I stamped onto a grey paper to create my own patterned paper.

 

I love these fishes from creative depot. I stamped them on grey paper and embossed them with white embossing powder.

Ich liebe diese Fischstempel von creative depot. Hier habe ich sie auf graues Papier gestempelt und weiß embosst. 

 

Für den Titel habe ich mir ähnliche Schriftarten wie auf dem Stempel raus gesucht und ihn dann mit der Cameo ausgeschnitten. Im Hintergrund habe ich mit einem Stencil und transparenter Strukturpaste Schiffchen aufgetragen. 

The title is cut out with my cameo. I tried to find similar fonts like these on the stamp. For more texture on the background, I used a stencil and transparent texture paste to create these boats.

Today, I created a layout with one of the challenges of CSI - Color stories Inspiration:

I was inspired by the scene with the waves and the sea.

I used: sailboat, ocean themed elements, architectural elements, birds and clouds.

I used the awesome beachhouses from creative depot to create some decoration.

Füße im Sand

This month is patriotic month at Lasting Memories. Today, the assignment is to create a red, white, and blue layout. I'm not American, but the colors fit perfectly with maritim themes!


Diesen Monat ist patriotischer Monat bei Lasting Memories.. Da sind die Amerikaner ja ganz groß dabei. Deshalb ist nun das Thema: rot, weiß und blau. Aber die Farben passen auch perfekt zu maritimen Themen!

For this label, I mixed stamps from creative depot and Klartext.

Für dieses Label habe ich Stempel von Creative Depot und Klartext gemischt.

Hier noch ein kleiner Hingucker aus Streudeko.

Wir vom Designteam haben uns überlegt, dass wir aus dem bisher 2-wöchentlichen, einen monatlichen Blog machen. So habt ihr mehr Zeit für eure Kreationen und man kann sich besser merken, wann die nächste Challenge startet.

We decided to change from a 2-weekly to a monthly challenge. From now on you have more time to create your cards, layouts etc. appropriate to the assignment and it is easier to keep the date in mind when the next challenge starts.

Ok, ich bin mit meinem Post etwas spät dran, aber besser spät als nie. ;-)

Für mein Layout habe ich getupftes Vellum hinter mein Foto geklebt. Dann habe ich mit den tollen Textstempeln von Creative.Depot auf einen Streifen Vellum den Titel weiß embosst. Ich liebe den Effekt! 

Die netten Strandhäuser sind auch bei dem Set dabei. Ich habe sie ausgeschnitten und mit Abstandspads aufgeklebt.

Our new challenge for this month is online on the Lasting Memories layout challenges blog:

Look up at the Sky Day is a fun day to check out what's up there. 'Ya never know what might be up there. An asteroid or meteor may be on its way. A solar eclipse could be on display. A flock of geese or birds may be overhead (you may need to duck for cover!). or, the clouds may be forming into interesting characters and patterns.

Take a few minutes out from your busy day to look up at the sky today. If nothing else, the break from the routine will be relaxing.

And this is mine: I love the sea and the cloudy sky with the sun shining through.

I used some cloud cutfiles from the cut shoppe and Just nick. The stripe stamp is my newest achievement from the "Stempelmesse Süd" from anne581.

Heute haben wir bei Challenge Up Your Life eine tolle neue Challenge für euch: Inksmooshing! Wie ihr bestimmt schon gesehen habt, liebe ich diese Technik, bei der man mit Farbe auf dem Hintergrund rumkleckert und tolle Effekte erzielt. 

Heute habe ich es mal wieder mit meiner Lieblingsfarbe blau getan. 😁

Den Titel habe ich mit der Cameo ausgeschnitten und mit blauer Metallic-Acrylfarbe angemalt, damit es farblich zum Hintergrund passt.

First, I wanted to create an easter layout, but I couldn't find easter themed photos… :-(
So I decided to create a layout with the color palette.

After a long time, I found an hour to create a layout for the actual challenge of CSI - color stories inspiration! I love their challenges and was a little bit sad that the days were running by...

I used a kite cutfile from the cut shoppe and backed it with some patterned papers and vellum.
The background paper is from maja design and was in a price pack I won at CSI! 😀

From the evidence I used: dots - stripes - kites - clouds - hearts 

I thought that this great kite don't need lots of decoration. So I simply created this little cluster and let the kite shine for it's own:

Als ich die Challenge #258 bei CSI gesehen habe, wusste ich, dass ich sie machen muss! Ich liebe den Strand und diese Farben! Außerdem ist unser nächster Nordseeurlaub nur noch ein paar Wochen entfernt und ich freue mich schon sehr darauf!


I saw the challenge #258  at CSI  and I knew: I have to solve this! I love the beach! And our next holidays are just a few weeks away! 
This is the case file:

Für mein Layout habe ich ein werk von #Goldregenschauer auf Instagram als Vorlage genommen. Mir haben die Farben und die maritimen Elemente so gut gefallen!


For my layout, I used a layout from #Goldregenschauer as another inspiration.You can find her on instagram.

Ich liebe diesen Leuchtturmstempel, den ich schön länger in meinem Sortiment habe. Ich habe ihn ein bisschen mit roter metallic Acrylfarbe coloriert. 

I love this lighthouse stamp! I colored the stripes with red metallic acrylic paint.

Und ich liebe auch die Muscheln von SF-Stamps!

Das Shakerelement auf #Goldregenschauers Layout hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich das auch auf meinem  realisieren musste!

I was inspired by the shaker element on #goldregenschauers layout and decided to create a shaker, too.

Create a layout documenting one or many of your favorite things and journal your WHY. You can do a layout listing your favorites in multiple categories - book, movie, food, location, drink, tv show, etc; or, you can focus on one favorite that deserves it's own entire layout. 

I really love the sea, sunsets, time with my famiy, sand under my feet, the North sea... All these things are my absolute favorites an you can see them on my layout!

I used the awesome SF-Stamps "Muscheln" to create some decoration. I stamped the seashells on kraft paper and colored them with polychromos.

Today, we have a fun this or that challenge at the studio challenges for you!
You have to use at least six lines of these:

I took my colour-inspiration from CSI:

And a sketch from Stick it down:

I used light yellow cardstock as my background. Then I smudged some gesso onto it and splattered some colors around (distress oxides: cracked pistachio and worn lipstick). The title is cut out with my cameo. Two of my photos fit perfectly into the letters. Then I handstitched around my title and traced the white letters with a black fineliner. 

From the this or that I took:
sequins, heart, cardstock, flowers, stamps, twine, pink and girls!

The stamps are from SF-stamps.

Hallo zusammen! Heute zeige ich euch mein neuestes Layout. Ich habe mir hierzu den Sketch von Let's get Sketchy zu Hilfe genommen:

Hello scrappy friends! Today I'm sharing my newest layout. I used the actual sketch from Let's get Sketchy as inspiration:

 

Als Hintergrund habe ich Kraft-Papier verwendet, weil darauf die Farben so toll leuchten. Die Kringel (von SF-Stamps) habe ich  mit brauner Versafine-Stempelfarbe gestempelt und zum Teil mit metallic gilding polish coloriert. Den Zweig unter meinem Titel habe ich mit Polycromos angemalt. Das Dekopapier habe ich mit gilding Polish eingefärbt und dann geprägt. 

I used kraft paper as my background. I love how the colors shine on it! I stamped some swirls from SF-Stamps onto it and colored parts of them with metallic gilding polish. The papers I used for decoration is painted with gilding polish, too. 

Die Hibiskus-Blüten habe ich auf Kraft-Papier gestempelt, mit Polychromos coloriert und ausgeschnitten. 

I stamped the flowers onto kraft paper and coloured them with polychromos.

Minialbum mit SF-Stamps

Heute habe ich mal wieder ein Minialbum gestaltet und dieses Mal ist es wirklich Mini! Es ist aus einem Blatt der Größe 12x12 inch gefaltet.

Zur Dekoration habe ich die SF-Stamps von Scrapbookforever verwendet: hier aus dem Set: "Das Leben ist schön". 
Die Fotos waren ursprünglich im Format 9x13. Ich habe sie auf das Format 3x3 inch zugeschnitten. Und ich finde, so kommen sie nochmal ganz anders zur Geltung!

Hier habe ich das Set "Die besten Wünsche " verwendet. Der Spruch ist aus dem Set "lebe jeden Augenblick". Auf dem Foto waren wir auf dem Rad nur sehr klein zu sehen, aber jetzt im kleiner geschnittenen Zustand, sieht es richtig gut aus!

Hier kamen die SF-Stempel-Sets "Herzhände das Leben ist schön", "Schön, dass es dich gibt" und "die Seele baumeln lassen" zum Einsatz:

Bei dieser Seite habe ich mich ein bisschen in Handlettering versucht (naja). Für die anderen Texte habe ich Stempel aus dem Set "Augen zu und durch" verwendet.Zudem noch einen Schnörkel Den Hibiskus habe ich mit Polychromos Stiften ausgemalt und ausgeschnitten. Der Vogel auf dem Ast ist mit golden glitzerndem Embossingpulver embosst.

Für die Tags habe ich nochmal das Set "kleiner Piepmatz" verwendet und die "Muscheln" mit den passenden SF-Best Cuts.

Auch hier habe ich den Hibiskus mit Polychromos ausgemalt und die Blüte dann ausgeschnitten. Die Texte sind aus den Sets "Genieße den Augenblick", "die Seele baumeln lassen" und "Herzhände". Auf den Tag habe ich die Schnörkel mit Versamark gestempelt. So wird der Cardstock nur einen Ton dunkler und man muss sich nicht überlegen, welche Stempelfarbe passt dazu.

Das Herz habe ich zuerst aus weißem Cardstock ausgeschnitten und mit braunem Distress ink und einem Schwämmchen eingefärbt. Dann habe ich mehrere Lagen Embossingpulver darauf geschmolzen. Vor dem letzten Schmelzvorgang habe ich den Schnörkel mit goldener Stempelfarbe (Colorbox) eingefärbt und nach dem Schmelzen direkt in das noch weiche Embossingpulver gedrückt. Nach dem Abkühlen, kann man den Stempel ganz leicht wieder entfernen. Die weiteren Stempel sind aus den Sets "Herzhände das Leben ist schön" und
"Schön, dass es dich gibt".

Für meine letzte Seite habe ich ein Herz-Framelit von Sizzix und die Stempel "Klekse" und  "Lieben Leben Lachen" verwendet.
