Our newest challenge at The Studio Challenges is this great Sketch from Anna:
I was inspired by the triangles and chose a cutfile from paper issues to create a background for my photos.

Spring
New month, new challenges at Lasting Memories! This month is garden-month. Show us your garden in spring!
I took the photos for my layout in our garden yesterday. Our tree is full of blossoms and bees. I love this!
I used yellow cardstock as my background and covered it with white gesso. I cut out the flower cluster with my cameo. It is a free cutfile from scrapbook&cards. The circles and butterflies are stamps from SF-Stamps that I fussy cut out.

We have a super fun challenge for you on The Studio Challenges blog: Fussy cutting!
I chose a paper from Vicky Boutin and cut out all these awesome butterflies.
For the colorful background, I used distress oxides and the plastic packaging technique.

sweet dreams
This month we have some color challenges at Lasting Memories for you! Use black and white and one color on your Layouts! This week we want to see : black + white + blue!
I used the new butterfly stamps from SF-Stamps, stamped them onto white cardstock and colored them with blue watercolors. Then I fussy cut them out and placed them around my photo. Behind my picture I stamped the new circle background stamp and the awesome script Background stamp from SF-Stamps.
I love the dimension of all the different butterflies. They look like flying off the paper.

There are so cute circles and dots in the new SF-Stamp-Set. They are great for creating your own background.

Hello scrappy friends! Today I show you my latest layout for Lasting Memories. The assignment today: Alphas - Use at least 2 different types/fonts of alphas
on your layout
And it is the first time, I checked out the freaky fast formula challenge of Scraproom blog:
And for color inspiration, I used the challenge from CSI:
From the evidence I used: polka dots, hearts, a camper, twine
I really love the camper cutfile from the cut shoppe! I cut it out of some kraft paper and colored it with some light turquoise gilding polish.
Thanks for stopping by!

take a hike
Woohoo, it's already the third week with the "variety of shapes" - challenge at Lasting Memories. This week we want to see triangles!
I created a layout using a laser cut sheet from scrapmatts. I love all the tiny triangles. They look like mountains or trees. Perfect for my hiking photos. I used a woodgrain paper from simple stories as my background.
The text is a cutfile from the cut shoppe. The leaves are stamps from scrapbookforever that I stamped with gold and then fussy cut out.
Thanks for your visit today!

Es gibt wieder eine neue Challlenge bei challenge up your life! Das Thema diesmal: Aquarell
There is a new challenge at challenge up your life! The assignment: watercolor
you know: I love using sketches! And for this time, I chose a sketch from
let's get sketchy:
I cut out some rhombs with my cameo, to create the background of my layout. Then I stamped with sf-stamps onto them. I used stamps from these stamp-sets: "endlich Urlaub", "Hibiskus", "Genieße den Augenblick", "es gibt viele Dinge" and "Wirbelwind". I colored the flowers with watercolor and sprayed some color mists onto my white background cardstock.
Danke für deinen Besuch!

Hello scrappy friends! Today, I created a layout for the actual challenge of more than words:
And for more inspiration, I used the sketch from sketches in Thyme:
I used white cardstock as my background and a light green patterned paper that I cut into a big circle. I splattered some green colors onto my layout and stamped onto it.
I used lots of decoration from my stash (insta-frame, Flowers, leaves, butterfly, bird...) to create an eye catcher in the middle of my layout.
Thanks for your visit!

Today I created a layout for the actual challenge of CSI- color stories Inspiration:
A Close up to the hoppy easter cut file from the cut shopppe:
And I want to join in the challenge of use your stuff. They have the assignment:
easter / spring.
At Paper Issues challenge Facebook Group there is another challenge with the spring-theme.
From the csi evidence I used: animal (bunnys from SF-Stamps) - circle - zig-zag stitching - flower - stamps - Phrase stamp

Strassburg
Darauf habe ich etwas Distress oxide in "aged mahagony", "walnut stain" and "tattered rose" gekleckert.

Wir von Challenge up your life sehnen uns nach Frühling!
I used purple patterned paper as my background that I grounded with some gesso. As background for my photos I used a White paper with clear embossed butterflies. Then I colored this paper with purple twinklings H2O watercolors. The paper turned lilac and the embossed butterflies stayed white. Then I used an old tool, that I haven't used for a long time: the stamping gear from Inkadinkado. With this tool you can make awesome big flowers. I stamped one onto white cardstock, fussy cut it out and finally cut it into half. The butterflies are rub ons, that I transfered onto cardstock and fussy cut them out.

Today, I am sharing my newest layout for scrapbook-forever. I used the new SF-stamps "ein kleiner Frühlingsgruß" and for more Inspiration the actual Sketch from Stuck?!Sketches:
Today, I am sharing my newest layout for scrapbook-forever. I used the new SF-stamps "ein kleiner Frühlingsgruß" and for more Inspiration the actual Sketch from Stuck?!Sketches:
I used light blue cardstock as my Background. The photos are backed with navy blue and green cardstock. Then I stamped the flowers in a circle onto my Background and colored them with polychromos. After that I stamped the primrose onto white cardstock, colored it, too and fussy cut it out. The title is cut out with my cameo. Finally I stuck some enamel dots onto my layout.
Here you can see how I colored the blue flowers with polychromos:

Today, I decided to use the actual sketch from Stuck?! Sketches. Normally, I'm not a fan of paper strips or washitape, but I must confess, that I love the result!
I used light blue cardstock as my background. Then, I colored white cardstock with distress oxides (twistes citron and broken china) and a blending tool and cut it into stripes. After that, I decorated them with several small stamps from SF-Stamps and arranged them behind my photo. I used white cardstock and colored the embossing folder (Sizzix Texture Fades ) with distress oxides to create the blue paper with the circles. The title ist stamped with letter stamps directly on my background. Then I made some highlights with the splotch stamps from SF-Stamp. I used the flower from the "Es gibt viele Dinge"set for my decoration.
Here, you can see the circles of the embossing folder and the splotches stamps on the title.
Some more details of the stripes.

Stempelmesse
Today, I had some time, to solve some challenges. First, I took the one from CSI- color stories inspiration. While I was reading the testimony "topic: document something you love to do", my first thought was: this is the perfect topic for my photos from the stamping exhibition this year. I was there with my friends and we had a great day (sure, what else? ;-) ) and of course, we love stamping, creating and shopping!
From evidence I used: flowers - stamps - letter stamps and fuzzy cut them out
Then, I used a sketch from Stuck?!Sketches:
And last but not least, I took some inspiration from the actual receipe-challenge of lasting memories:
receipe #1: LM #368 - create a layout using 3 patterned papers, background stamping, a punched shape, puffy stickers, and your handwriting.
Some details:
And here a close up from the letters, that I stamped onto grey cardstock and fuzzy cut them out.
Danke für deinen Besuch!
