Let it snow

Today we have a funny moodboard for you at the studio challenges blog:

I used the actual Sketch from Stick it down:

I used a wood patterned paper as my background. Then I cut out the wreath cutfile (from the silhouette design store) and the title with my cameo. I used a stencil and some gilding polish to create some snowflakes.

The next "technique"-challenge at Lasting Memories is online! Today we want to see some mess on your layouts! Use paints, mists and / or watercolors!


I used the sketch from Stick it down, cause I saw it and I loved it!

First I wanted to splash some pink mists onto my background, but I didn't like how it turned out. So I decided to use pink acrylic paint and created some stripes behind my photos.

And I want to take part at the actual challenge of CSI:

I used from the evidence: stripes - frame - flower - triangle - sth. shiny (the candles and sure: my girl! ;-) )



The "happy" stamp is from Altenew tha I stamped with grey distress oxide and fussy cut out.

This flower cluster is from SF-Stamps. I stamped it on white cardstock, colored it with Twinklings H2O and fussy cut it out.

road Trip

Today starts a new month at Lasting Memories layout challenges! The theme for the next weeks is: transportation! And we start with CARS!


I wanted to get more inspiration and I decided to take the double sided sketch from stick it down:

And this is my layout: I used some older papers from my stash and lots of tags.

Today, we have a fun this or that challenge at the studio challenges for you!
You have to use at least six lines of these:

I took my colour-inspiration from CSI:

And a sketch from Stick it down:

I used light yellow cardstock as my background. Then I smudged some gesso onto it and splattered some colors around (distress oxides: cracked pistachio and worn lipstick). The title is cut out with my cameo. Two of my photos fit perfectly into the letters. Then I handstitched around my title and traced the white letters with a black fineliner. 

From the this or that I took:
sequins, heart, cardstock, flowers, stamps, twine, pink and girls!

The stamps are from SF-stamps.

Da ich es liebe, Sketche zu verwenden, habe ich mir heute den single page sketch von stick it down ausgesucht:

For some sketch inspiration I used the single page sketch from stick it down:

Als Hintergrund habe ich weißen Cardstock verwendet. Einen weiteren Bogen weißen Cardstock habe ich mit gilding polish in grün, blau, hellbraun und gold eingefärbt und dann mit Framelits und der Big Shot in Sechsecke geschnitten. Den Rahmen des Fotos habe ich ebenfalls mit gilding polish eingefärbt, damit farblich alles zusammen passt. Dann habe ich Quadrate in der Größe 6,5 cm ausgeschnitten und mit blauem gilding Polish eingefärbt. auf weitere Quadrate (6cm) habe ich die süßen Pandabären von SF-Stamps gestempelt und diese mit Polychromos koloriert. Der Pinsel und der Text sind aus dem "du bringst Farbe"-Set.

I used white cardstock as my background. Then I took another white cardstock and smudged some gilding polish in green, blue, tan and gold onto it and cut it with a framelit and my big shot into hexagons.The photo frame is colored with gilding polish. Then I cut some squares in the size 6,5 cm and colored them with the blue gilding polish. After that I cut some more squares (6 cm) and stamped some of these cute pandas from SF-Stamps onto them and colored them with polychromos.The brush and the text are from the "du bringst Farbe" set.

Today, I created a layout for the challenges of Stick it down and off the rails scrapbooking:
Stick it down has a great Sketch, I decided to use: 

And off the rails scrapbooking has a very inspiring moodboard. When I saw it, I know immediately which pictures I want to scrap!

And this is my layout: I used black cardstock as my background and did some handstitching like the sketch is shown. Then I stuck lots of tiny circles, hearts and flowers onto my layout. I love the rainbow effect!

Today I wanted to create a layout with the sketch from stick it down. When I saw it, I loved it, cause it is different from all the other sketches.

In addition to the sketch, you have to use a songtitle. I chose the title of a song of a cartoon, my girls love watching on tv.

I created a double layout with some photos of my daughters jazz dance show last year. They acted the story of "wizard of oz". I used the title of the well-known song "over the rainbow" and a verse of the songtext.

I created a layout with some photos of our holidays last year. We had a really cool tent with everything in it you need.
I cut out the words with my cameo and backed the letters with kraft paper and cardstock.
