I used my SF-stamps to stamp lots of christmas trees, emboss them with gold and cut them out.

I used golden and golden glitter embossing powder.

My favorite "item" is being together with my family.... ok, and the christmas tree. Last year we visited my parents and they had such a tiny tree! :-)

Winterzauber

Heute hat mich der Sketch von Lets Get Sketchy inspiriert, ein Layout zu gestalten:

I was inspired by the sketch of  Lets Get Sketchy to create a layout:

Vewendet habe ich die neuen Winterstempel von SF-Stamps aus dem Set "Sternenkranz".

Die Sterne habe ich gold gestempelt bzw. embosst. Für den Titel habe ich weißen Cardstock mit goldglizerndem Embossingpulver embosst und dann mit der Cameo die Buchstaben ausgeschnitten.

Lasting Memories: musizieren

This is my last layout as guest designer for Lasting Memories in december!
The assignment today is to use more than two photos on your christmas or winter layout!

For my layout, I choosed photos from a music lesson of my daughter at christmas. I cut out a big star and made a little mess with golden and red embossing powder on it. Then I machine stitched it onto my white background. The other stars are made with a stencil, distress inks and background stamps.

Weihnachtskarte mit Licht

Dieses Jahr habe ich Weihnachtskarten mit Licht gebastelt! Man kann sie aufklappen und ein elektrisches Teelicht dahinter stellen.

Die Auflegerpapiere habe ich mit Distress oxides eingefärbt und mit Wasser besprüht, um den Schneeeffekt zu erzielen. Den Stern habe ich mit Framelits und der Big Shot ausgeschnitten. Diesen habe ich dann mit Transparentpapier hinterlegt, das ich vorher mit dem Weihnachts-Hintergrundstempel von SF-Stamps bestempelt habe. Als Dekoration habe ich diese netten Wichtel ausgewählt. Zum Schluss habe ich den Schriftzug "fröhliche Weihnachten" in Gold embosst.

Lasting Memories: endlich eine Wii

Es ist schon wieder Sonntag und Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Lasting Memories! UND es ist mein drittes Layout als Gast-Designerin im Dezember!
Heute gibt es eine Tic tac toe challenge für euch!  Sucht euch eine Reihe aus, und zeigt uns, wie ihr die 3 Dinge auf eurem Weihnachts-/Winterlayout unterbringt!

Ich habe die rechte, senkrechte Reihe benutzt: Glitzer oder Pailletten - Sterne - Holzembellishment

It's sunday again and time for a new challenge at lasting memories! AND it is my third layout as guest designer in december! 
The theme today: a Tic Tac Toe challenge!

I used the right row down: glitter or sequins - stars - wood veneer

Meine Kinder haben mir einen tollen selbst gebastelten Adventskalender geschenkt! Und am 1.Dezember kam ein selbst gemachter Kartoffelstempel in Form eines Tannenbaums heraus. Den musste ich natürlich ausprobieren!

I got a selfmade advent calendar from my kids! And on 1. December there was a selfmade potato stamp in it! I have to use it! Sure!

Zuerst habe ich weißen Cardstock mit Tannenbäumen bestempelt. Hierzu habe ich verschiedene Farben verwendet: grüne colorbox stempelfarbe, Twinklings H2O in dunkelgrün, distress paint (Moos und Kupfer) und goldene Acrylfarbe. 

At first, I stamped some fir trees on white cardstock with different colors: green colorbox stamping color, dark green twinklings H2O, distress paint (moss and copper) and golden acrylic paint.

Und das ist das fertige Layout: Die Fotos habe ich mit verschiedenen grünen Papierresten gerahmt. Auf die Tannenbäume habe ich noch etwas goldene und grüne Farbspritzer verteilt und kleine Sterne gestempelt. Das Wort "Wii" habe ich aus goldenem Glitzerpapier ausgeschnitten. Noch etwas Dekoration und fertig! Sehen doch super aus, die gestempelten Tannenbäume!!

And this is my layout: The photos are backed with different green scraps. Onto the fir trees, I splattered some golden and green color and stamped some little stars. The word "Wii" is cut out of golden glitter paper. Then I added some more decoration - ready! The stamped trees are looking great on this layout, aren't they?

CUYL - Engel

Das heutige Thema bei Challenge up your life stimmt schon richtig auf Weihnachten ein: Engel.

Today, the theme at challenge up your life is: Angels

Dieses Thema hat mir einiges Kopfzerbrechen gemacht, aber am Ende habe ich es doch geschafft, einen Engel auf einem Layout in Szene zu setzen. 
Als Hintergrund habe ich  grauen Cardstock verwendet und aus weißem Cardstock habe ich einen Engel ausgeschnitten. Diesen habe ich mit goldenem Faden umstickt. Die Fotos habe ich mit Papier in verschiedenen Brauntönen hinterlegt. Dann wollte ich unbedingt noch goldenes Papier zum Hinterlegen und habe dafür weißen Cardstock mit goldener Acrylfarbe angemalt. Noch etwas Goldfarbe, goldenes Washi-Tape und Sticker für die richtige Weihnachtsstimmung.

This theme really challenges me! But in the end, I managed it to create a layout with an angel and I love how it turns out! 
I used grey cardstock as my background and cut out an white angel. Then I stitched around it with gold twine. The photos are backed with different brown scraps. Then I needed golden paper to back my photos, so I created one of my own with white cardstock and golden acrylic paint. In addition to this, I used goldspray, golden washi tape and some stickers for the right christmas mood.

scrapping 4 fun - christmas

Heute darf ich Gastdesignerin bei scrapping 4 fun sein! 
Es hat mir viel Spaß gemacht, das Thema #104 Weihnachten umzusetzen!

Today, I am a guest designer at scrapping 4 fun !  I had really much fun, to realize the challenge #104 christmas!


Ich habe mir auf Pinterest ein Layout von Missy Whidden ausgewählt. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich das Layout hier auf meinem Blog posten darf, deshalb habe ich nur den Link zum Layout auf Pinterest eingefügt.
Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich mal ein Weihnachts-layout mit einem rosa Hintergrund gestalte, aber ich weiß auch nicht, warum ich mir irgendwann einmal diese rosafarbene Winterpapier gekauft habe. Egal - es passt perfekt! Zuerst habe ich es mit Gesso grundiert, dann habe ich mit 2 verschiedenen Grüntönen und Lachs einige Kleckse aufgebracht. Zuerst habe ich mit der Nähmaschine zwei Dreiecke als stilisierte Tannenbäume genäht. Dann habe ich diese noch mit Stickgarn in beige und weinrot umstickt. Den grünen  Tannenbaum (Datei von the cut shoppe) habe ich ebenfalls mit der Nähmaschine fest genäht. Den Kreis mit der Schrift "Dec 24" habe ich selbst mit dem Silhouette-Programm erstellt und von meiner Cameo ausschneiden lassen. Für meine Dekoration habe ich Stickers aus meinem Fundus, Chipboards von Toga und Embellishments, die ich mit print&cut erstellt habe, verwendet. Der Textstempel "Fröhliche Weihnachten" ist von SF-Stamps. 

I decided to scraplift a layout from Missy Whidden, which I found on pinterest. I am not sure, if I am allowed to post it on my blog, so I just include the link to pinterest.
I never thougt about using a pink background for a christmas layout, but this paper from my stash was perfect! First, I grounded it with gesso, then I did some splotches in 2 different green and peach colors. After that, I stitched 2 triangles with my sewing machine. After that I did some handstitching around them. The green tree (cutfile from the cut shoppe) in machine stitched onto my layout, too. The circle with the title "Dec 24" is selfmade with my silhouette programme. For decoration, I used stickers from my stash, chipboards from toga and embellishments, that I created with print&cut. The text "Fröhliche Weihnachten" is a stamp from sf-stamps.

lasting memories GDT : Schuhe putzen

Today, the last july-challenge of Lasting Memories goes online!

The challenge is:
Go on a scrappy adventure - document a layout in a size outside your normal use. Show us your mini-album, traveler's notebook, custom pocket page, or if you normally scrap 12x12 you can make an 8.5x11, etc.

I did an 8x8 layout! It's a long time ago, I did my last 8x8 layout. And it was really fun, to use such a small size of paper! The title means: cleaning shoes for Santa Claus. On 6th of December, we put some shoes in front of the door, that Santa Claus fills with sweets and small presents.

Weihnachten

Today, I'm sharing a layout for the this-or-that-challenge of show us your stuff. 

 

I used: stars, sequins, a ribbon and spots. My handmade items are the trees.

And this is my layout: 

I used black cardstock as background and applied some shimmering embellishment mousse (spring green) with a roller brayer. After that I splotted some green and yellow acrylic paint onto my paper. The cristmas trees are a cut file from the cut shoppe.  I backed them with some paper from my stash.
