The next challenge with the focus on using patterned paper at the Lasting Memories challenge blog is to use plaid pattern.


This really challenged me, cause I don't like plaid patterns.... 
So, I decided to use a paper from one of my favourite brand: Maja Design. I love the pastel colors and I really like how the layout turned out!

I used an alphabet cutfile from just nick and created the word with my silhouette programme.

 

After cutting it out, I backed the title with some more of the beautiful Maja Design papers.

Welcome to the last october challenge at Lasting Memories: Anything goes with a fall or halloween theme.

I decided to create a fall themed layout. The pictures with this funny mushroom in the middle of the log of wood were perfect for this. I found an older paper pack in my stash and used it to back the leaf cluster cutfile from just nick.

good day sunshine

Hey, another week with the plants challenge at Lasting Memories is on the way! We want to see a cactus on your layout!

I used a sentiment cutfile from the silhouette design store and traced it with a black fineliner.
For my background I used a stencil that I created by using a thinlit from sizzix. 

The cactus is a cufile from just nick that I backed with some scraps and colored with watercolors.

Travel the world

This week of our stamp challenges at Lasting Memories we want to see tiny stamps on your layouts!

And I used the actual challenge of CSI to get more inspiration for my layout.

I used a tiny phrases roller stamp and a tiny star stamp from cats on appletrees.
And I used the awesome paper from maja design. The globe is from the 6x6 paper pack "denim friends".

 I created this title with some letters from Just Nick and cut it out with my cameo.

Our new challenge for this month is online on the Lasting Memories layout challenges blog:

Look up at the Sky Day is a fun day to check out what's up there. 'Ya never know what might be up there. An asteroid or meteor may be on its way. A solar eclipse could be on display. A flock of geese or birds may be overhead (you may need to duck for cover!). or, the clouds may be forming into interesting characters and patterns.

Take a few minutes out from your busy day to look up at the sky today. If nothing else, the break from the routine will be relaxing.

And this is mine: I love the sea and the cloudy sky with the sun shining through.

I used some cloud cutfiles from the cut shoppe and Just nick. The stripe stamp is my newest achievement from the "Stempelmesse Süd" from anne581.

The next "transportation"-challenge at Lasting Memories is online! This week we want to see hotair balloons! I love them! And I love blue! 😉

The balloon is a cutfile from just nick that I backed with several papers from my stash.

For the title "world" I painted some dark blue foam letters with light blue gilding polish.

no rain no rainbows

Hallo zusammen! Schon wieder sind zwei Wochen vorbei und eine neue Challenge bei challenge up your life steht vor der Tür! 
Das Thema heute: Regenbogen oder Einhörner 

Hello everybody! A new challenge at challenge up your life is round the corner! 
The assignment today: rainbow or unicorn 

Als Hintergrund habe ich dunkelgraunen Cardstock verwendet, der passte so gut zum Regenhimmel. Darauf habe ich etwas weißes Gesso verteilt und mit blauem und gelbem Farbspray Akzente gesetzt. Die Datei des Schriftzugs mit Regenbogen und Wolken ist von Just Nick. Den Regenbogen habe ich mit Twinklings angemalt. Noch ein paar Sticker und etwas Washi-Tape - fertig. 

 I used dark grey cardstock as my background. It fits perfectly with the rainy sky. I smudged lots of gesso onto my background and did some color work with blue and yellow ink spray. The title cutfile with the rainbow and the clouds is from just nick. Finally some stickers and washi tape.

Den Titel habe ich mit Abstandspads unterlegt, um einen 3-D-Effect zu erzielen.

I put some foam adhesives under the title to create more dimension.

Ausflug nach Garda

New month, new challenges at Lasting Memories! 
This month, the assignments go around with paper. 
Today: try a new paper technique.

I took all the paper strips from the bottom of the patterned papers, that I cut and collected. I weaved them and stick it down on my white background paper.

I chose some pictures of my daughter, playing melodica in the school. 
for my background, I used a cut file from just Nick and backed it with a colorful paper from the BoBunny Collection "believe". With this cut file and the bright colors, you don't need much embellishments for decoration...

the studio challenges: wonderful memories

Today we want to see snowflakes on the studio challenge blog!

I used white cardstock as my background and cut out several snowflakes with my cameo. I smudged several blue tones (embellishment mousse, acrylic paint) onto my background. They all have an amazing metallic shimmer! Then I used a stencil and texture paste to create the little white circles. The title is a cut file from just nick.

Lasting memories - happy

Hello scrappy friends! It's the last day of the year and my first day as a member of the design team of lasting memories! I am so excited! 
This month we have some word challenges for you! 
The first one is: use the word: Happy!

It's cold and rainy outside and I decided to scrap these summer photos! It was a really happy time at the beach buildung sandcastles!

I used light turquoise cardstock as my background and did some color work with distress oxide, water and plastic packaging.

xoxo - the studio challenges

It's sunday again and time for a new challenge at the studio challenge blog!

The assignment today:Sparkle and Shine; for this challenge we want to see your layouts with things that shine and sparkle this could be glitter, metallics, gems etc.



I used the beautiful xoxo cut file from just nick and backed it with light green glitter paper. This is perfect with the cute photos of my sweet girls!
