Musik

A new challenge at Lasting Memories is online!

The theme today: Music in our schools!

I chose some pictures of my daughter, playing melodica in the school.
for my background, I used a cut file from just Nick and backed it with a colorful paper from the BoBunny Collection "believe". With this cut file and the bright colors, you don't need much embellishments for decoration...

Thanks for your visit!

hier kommt der Winter

Schon wieder sind 2 Wochen vorbei und eine neue Challenge bei Challenge up your life erwartet euch!  Das Thema für die nächsten 2 Wochen lautet: Tags / Anhänger

2 more weeks are gone again - and a new challenge at challenge up your life is waiting for you! The assignment for the next 2 weeks: Tags

Für mein Layout habe ich das Papierpaket "Winter frost" von We R Memory Keepers verwendet. Mir gefällt die Komibination von braun, blau/türkis und grün sehr gut!

For my layout, I used the paperpad "winter frost" from We R Memory keepers. I like the combination of brown, blue/turquoise and green!

Hier noch ein Zoom auf die Tags. Der Stempel "Hier kommt der Winter" ist von Klartext/Dani Peuss.

we're having a good time

Last but not least I finished the last layout for the Sketches in Thyme line:

And I decided, to solve the challenge of off the rails scrapbooking. They have a colorful moodboard this month:

First I created a colorful background paper: I used a stencil from scrapmatts and transparent texture paste. When the circles were dry, I created the colorful stripes: I stick some post-it papers onto the cardstock and colored line by line with distress oxides and a blending tool.

And this is the finished layout. I love how it turned out with all the bright colors!

A close up with the title and the nice arrow stamps from Klartext-stamps.

Here you can see the amazing cutout from scrapmatts:

Strassburg

Darauf habe ich etwas Distress oxide in "aged mahagony", "walnut stain" and "tattered rose" gekleckert.

love you

Today, I created a layout with a sketch from Sketches in Thyme:

And I want to join in the challenge of scrap our stash with the movie poster theme:

I used the awesome "Denim & Friends" paper from Maja Design. I love the blues and turquoises.

The heart is a cut file from the cut shoppe. I stitched around it with twine and I love how it turned out!

The title is a cut file from Just Nick.

Wunschbaum

A new challenge at the studio challenges is online! The assignment today: use kraft paper!

And for more Inspiration, I used the Sketch of Sketches in Thyme:

I love kraft paper, but often, I don't know, how to use it. But now, I had to use it for the challenge and I really loved it! I combined it with whtie and turquoise.

I love these feather stamps! I stamped them with distress oxides onto kraft paper and cut them out with my big shot.

The woodgrain paper fits so beautiful together with the kraft paper.

The title is cut out with my cameo (shoreline script). The sentence "dare to dream big" is a stamp from the feather stamping set.

Forte Belvedere

A new month starts at Lasting Memories layout challenges.
#384 -Did you Know? March was named for the Roman God "Mars" Mars  was the god of war and also an agricultural guardian.

So this gives you 2 options, a layout about war (think a layout of a war hero, museum-area about war (Gettysburg)...) or an agricultural/farm layout (which this could cover just about anything with farming-food, animals, seasons....)

I decided to create a layout with some pictures from our last years Holidays where we visited a war museum in an old fortress.

I used the actual Sketch from Stuck?! Sketches as inspiration:

I used kraft paper as my background. I love kraft paper, but often, I don't know how to work with it, but now, I wanted to challenge me and used it today. I love the combination of kraft and white!
