New month, new challenges at the Lasting Memories challenge blog! The first assignment is to use the colors red and white predominantly on your layout. 

This reallly challenges me, because red is not my favorite color. 

I found some photos from our kids in this red sailboat and they were perfect for this challenge!

For decoration, I used the cute stamps from creative depot and fussy cut them out.

I used a stencil and white texture paste on the red acrylic paint.

Our last stamping challenge at Lasting Memories is online! Today:Stamp Free-for-all 

Pick your favorite stamping technique from the month, or one you haven't yet used and stamp on your scrapbook page!

For this challenge I needed some more inspiration and I used this case file from CSI:

 

For this layout I jumped into my stamps and found some background grunge stamps, I never used and some of the older SF flower stamps that I really love!

The title is stamped, too. These stamping challenges were so fun!

Travel the world

This week of our stamp challenges at Lasting Memories we want to see tiny stamps on your layouts!

And I used the actual challenge of CSI to get more inspiration for my layout.

I used a tiny phrases roller stamp and a tiny star stamp from cats on appletrees.
And I used the awesome paper from maja design. The globe is from the 6x6 paper pack "denim friends".

 I created this title with some letters from Just Nick and cut it out with my cameo.
