no rain no rainbows

Hallo zusammen! Schon wieder sind zwei Wochen vorbei und eine neue Challenge bei challenge up your life steht vor der Tür! 
Das Thema heute: Regenbogen oder Einhörner 

Hello everybody! A new challenge at challenge up your life is round the corner! 
The assignment today: rainbow or unicorn 

Als Hintergrund habe ich dunkelgraunen Cardstock verwendet, der passte so gut zum Regenhimmel. Darauf habe ich etwas weißes Gesso verteilt und mit blauem und gelbem Farbspray Akzente gesetzt. Die Datei des Schriftzugs mit Regenbogen und Wolken ist von Just Nick. Den Regenbogen habe ich mit Twinklings angemalt. Noch ein paar Sticker und etwas Washi-Tape - fertig. 

 I used dark grey cardstock as my background. It fits perfectly with the rainy sky. I smudged lots of gesso onto my background and did some color work with blue and yellow ink spray. The title cutfile with the rainbow and the clouds is from just nick. Finally some stickers and washi tape.

Den Titel habe ich mit Abstandspads unterlegt, um einen 3-D-Effect zu erzielen.

I put some foam adhesives under the title to create more dimension.

Hello scrappy friends! Today I'm sharing a layout with a picture from our last holiday at Lago di Garda.

I was inspired by the sketch of Sketches in Thyme:

And I want to join in the challenge of paper issues with the assignment: layers

For my layout, I used the pretty paper of maja design. I really love all the blues!  
I did some stitching on the arrow cut file from the silhouette design store. The flower is made with print and cut and my cameo.

Heute zeige ich euch mein neuestes Layout for das Design Team von Lasting Memories. Diesen Monat geht es um Papiertechniken. 
Diese Woche: Gestalte dein eigenes Hintergrundpapier! 
 
Today I'm sharing my newest layout for the Lasting Memories design team. The focus this month is on papers. This week the assignment is: create your own background paper!


Hierfür habe ich die Worte der SF-Stamps Set "die Seele baumeln lassen"auf mein Hintergrundpapier gestempelt. Auf einen Streifen dunkelbraunen Cardstock habe ich noch einige Blumen aus dem Set "die besten Wünsche" gestempelt. 

I stamped words from the sf-stamps collection "die Seele baumeln lassen" onto my background paper and some flowers on a piece of dark brown cardstock to use it as decoration.

  
Die Muschel-Stempel habe ich mit brauner Versafine-Stempelfarbe auf Kraftpapier gestempelt und mit Polychormos coloriert. Ich bin total begeistert, wie toll das auf dem Kraftpapier raus kommt!

I stamped the seashell stamps with brown versafine and colored them with polychromos pencils.  I really love how it turned out on the kraft paper!

Die große Blume aus dem "die besten Wünsche" -Set habe ich mit hellbraun gestempelt und dann mit Stickles nachgefahren, damit es schön glitzert. 

A close up to the big flower that I stamped and then traced with stickles to give it a more glittery effect.

over the rainbow

A new fun challgen at The studio challenges is online! 
Today we have a partner challenge with stick it down for you!

and also use a  Song Title; we want to see you use a song title on your layout, you can also use the lyrics too if you like.

I created a double layout with some photos of my daughters jazz dance show last year. They acted the story of "wizard of oz". I used the title of the well-known song "over the rainbow" and a verse of the songtext.

Today I created a layout for the actual challenge of CSI- color stories Inspiration:

At Paper Issues challenge Facebook Group there is another challenge with the spring-theme.

From the csi evidence I used: animal (bunnys from SF-Stamps) - circle - zig-zag stitching - flower - stamps - Phrase stamp

Ausflug nach Garda

New month, new challenges at Lasting Memories! 
This month, the assignments go around with paper. 
Today: try a new paper technique.

I took all the paper strips from the bottom of the patterned papers, that I cut and collected. I weaved them and stick it down on my white background paper.

The Clouds are cut files from just nick and the cut shoppe.
